Outside of the National PTSD Center, this is the first time that I’ve seen moral injury mentioned in the context of a VA center. This time the mention is in the context of a VA center in Rowlett, TX outside Dallas.
Even more surprising is that they use the language to apply both to combat veterans and first responders:
Moral Injury Training is for all individuals who want to learn more about the impact of war and repeated exposure to trauma for service men and women as well as first responders.
